Job Description

This is a part time position. The person in this role will be expected to work 4-5 hours a day, scheduled to work 3 days a week – 12-15 hours/week total (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) with potential Saturday hours if determined it is needed. Part-time employees are not eligible for certain health and welfare benefits.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Cashier, accurate cash drawer reconciliations.
  • Requires the flexibility to cover vacations/absentees as requested.
  • Will work in the store and in the freezer area conducting a physical inventory. The person in this role is responsible for stocking the store front freezers, consolidating product and stacking up pallets in the freezers with some lifting required.
  • Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
  • Responsible for cleaning the facility.
  • Receive & unload trailer deliveries.
  • Willingness to be trained and licensed to use the power jack/manual jack/handcart per Safety requirements.
  • Assist in product ordering decisions.
  • Will be responsible for sales, features input and recommendations accordingly.
  • Other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Good English communication skills (written, reading, and oral), as well as computer- usage skills  ( MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and prioritization.
  • Ability to work in freezing or below freezing temperatures required.
  • Willingness to be trained and licensed to use the power jack/manual jack/handcart per Safety requirements.
  • Flexibility for vacation/absentee coverage required.
  • Good attendance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of product produced at the facilities to be sold in the store preferred.
  • Experience in sales environment preferred.
  • Food safety handling knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to operate a cash register/credit card machine preferred.
