The Manager of Mobility Innovation will be responsible for exloring new business models across the Autonomous/Aerial – Connected – Electric – Shared (ACES) portfolio of transportation and supporting the strategy, investment, product development and market expansion plans for emerging ACES technology. The role will work across the Cox Automotive Mobility organization to support the short and long term growth strategies, incubate new ideas, work with new partners on business development initiatives, and drive growth. This position is matrixed requiring strong planning, analytical, influence and execution skills. 

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES

ACES Innovation Duties: •    Research ACES (Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared) trends and emerging technologies 

•    Research the ACES competitive landscape, evaluate new entrants, and report back to the broader team 

•    Identify and advance new business models within the ACES framework as defined by the team 

o    Communicate with impact and help build the business case for A.C.E.S. initiatives

o    Partner with key stakeholders of core business units and clients to provide insights on emerging business models and technologies to inform strategies that lead to external solutions to immediate & long-term challenges

o    Partner with key stakeholders on new growth partnerships, competitive landscape and execution of new business development relationships

•    Create logical and persuasive presentations that drive decision-making 

•    Build financial models to forecast future outcomes of business opportunities 

•    Work collaboratively across functions, the business and with clients to build relationships, influence and achieve business results

Qualifications:

•    BS/BA degree with MBA preferred  •    7+ years experience– preferably in automotive space

•    Strong research and analytical skills

•    Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information to outline hypotheses and draw insights

•    Strong technical abilities including financial model building and complex data analysis

•    Ability to storyboard and create powerful presentations

•    Proven ability to solve problems in a creative manner; innate intellectual curiosity

•    Strong project management and organizational skills

•    High comfort level working in fast paced environment

•    Strong communication, collaboration, consensus building skills

•    Works well in a fluid, matrix environment
