To do all of this you will be an excellent communicator, collaborator and innovator.ROLE OVERVIEWThis role is responsible for managing the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) Region Sales and Marketing OPEX. This includes the monthly OPEX forecasting process, understanding and articulating the reasons behind key spends and variances. Overseeing approval of OPEX spend and purchase requisitions. Involvement in the close process, booking quarter end close entries, reviewing actuals, providing commentary and working alongside leadership to size up risks and opportunities to support investment decision making.We support and promote career development throughout the organisation, with opportunities to enable you to perfect your existing skills - and acquire new ones.
- Partner with FP&A leadership and business leads to develop annual and quarterly financial targets.- Own the OPEX P&L forecasting processes, understanding and commenting on key spends and variances.- Working with colleagues across the EMEIA region to ensure in-depth commentary and taking ownership of the forecast.- Business partnering with EMEIA leadership and US central teams to understand risks and opportunities in forecasts and engage in conversations around investment opportunities.- Reviewing and approving purchase requisitions to ensure alignment with budget and compliance with internal policies. - Own the close process, booking quarter end close entries, reviewing actuals to ensure correct accounting treatment is in place and providing commentary on any variances.
Degree and/or MBA preferred with backing of professional accounting qualification.
