Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

The role is based out of Mumbai and required working with the Macro MiFID II Team. The role will require a fast-learning, dynamic, pro-active and self-motivated person to assist the team in maintaining, tracking and analyzing client/business compliance with MiFID II.

The role involves working on –

  • Invoice Preparation: Prepare client invoices for Research services on a quarterly basis, as well as following up on any issues that arise.
  • Negotiations with Clients: Assist in pricing discussions with external clients by email and phone in regards to MiFID II research agreements.
  • Maintaining Client Entitlements: Communicate with clients to ensure users’ access corresponds with the arranged agreement and maintain client user lists.
  • Senior Management Reporting: Assist in the preparation of Management material on a quarterly basis, highlighting key points of emphasis and progress.
  • On-Boarding: Help with basic client on-Boarding queries in terms on monitoring the progress with the sales teams.
  • Research Interaction Requests: Assess requests for research interaction approve/reject based on maintained data and information.
  • Monthly Reconciliations: Using Excel to ensure that all records are kept up to date and accurate.

Skills required (essential)

The basic skills required for the role are the ability to learn quickly how to navigate databases, manipulate data from these confidently in Excel and respond to requests promptly.

Skill set required:

We are looking for a confident and outgoing person, who has exceptional attention to detail and is proactive in taking initiative. Successful candidates will have a proven work experience analyzing data.

  • Graduate MBA with 2- 3 years of experience
  • Excellent written & spoken English; Excellent business writing skills
  • Excellent telephone skills (regular phone contact with team required)
  • Advanced knowledge and extensive hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel including macros, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with databases, and the ability to manipulate/analyze data confidently
  • Experience/exposure or interest in markets/ track markets will be valuable.
