Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategically engage with analysts to bring insights to Microsoft strategies.
  • Provide ongoing communications counsel to internal business partners, including marketing, PR, engineering, legal and sales.
  • Work regularly with key business partners and executives to facilitate their engagement with analysts and influence their perception of Microsoft and our products.
  • Collaborate across teams and integrate customer success to help educate and influence analysts’ understanding and perceptions of our solutions.
  • Contextualize analyst insights with regional nuance for field and sales enablement.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from analysts on regional research reports and from internal stakeholders for custom research advice and inquiry guidance.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • Proven years of experience in Analyst Relations, Communications or Marketing, or related experience.
  • Exceptional communications skills and an understanding of evolving communications trends.
  • Strong relationship-building and influence skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple business partners, including cross-group teams, virtual and global teams, vendors and agency partners.  
  • Strategic thinking and counsel: Ability to understand business trends and competitive landscape, stay on top of developments and corporate strategy, and advise on opportunities.
  • Ability to manage complex projects autonomously in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, solution-minded and results-driven.
  • Proven track record for new, innovative approaches and smart risk-taking.
  • Knowledge of the breadth of Microsoft products and the technology industry
  • Working knowledge of cultures across EMEA is preferred.
  • Based in EMEA (location flexible).
  • Direct experience running global comms programs is a plus!
