Duties:
Manage engineering changes for current products, leveraging electromechanical consumer durable product design expertise. Lead the sustaining engineering function for the ASG Lowell technology center. Build capacity in an engineering organization focused on all stages of the product user journey. Develop team capability to support a broad range of marine and mobile products delivered through both OEM supplier and direct to consumer and retail channels. Facilitate root cause analysis. Develop product design improvements. Review, update and release electromechanical design documents using DFMEA, DVP, GD&T and advanced CAD surfacing techniques. Import and migrate large amounts of engineering data into PLM Teamcenter. Manage multi-manufacturing site design documentation. Manages 4 engineers.
Education + Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and seven (7) years of mechanical engineering experience
Special Skills:
Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) 2 years of managerial experience guiding and mentoring engineers; 2) reviewing, updating and releasing electromechanical design documents using DFMEA, DVP, GD&T and advanced CAD surfacing techniques; 3) importing and migrating large amounts of engineering data into PLM Teamcenter; and 4) electromechanical consumer durable product design experience, including managing multi-manufacturing site design documentation.
Salary:
$110,100
