A Typical Work Day May Include:
- Execution of Preventative Maintenance work, support of new install and electrical service.
- Troubleshooting of assets used for controlling plant processes such as, but not limited to, pumps, motors, relays, contractors, VFDs, and PLCs.
- Keep electrical prints updated. Completion of daily/weekly paperwork in our maintenance software program.
- Help identify needed electrical work to maintain and sustain for long term success in a production facility.
- Training and development courses for continuous education.
- Consulting with outside vendors on projects, and communication with master electrician current change
Required Qualifications:
- Must possess an A Journeyman’s license with the state that is current.
- Must be able to update and troubleshoot a range of electrical components including instrumentation and processing controls.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining various electrical components and systems including low voltage automation systems, and/or medium voltage motor control circuits, and/or high voltage (<15kV) power distribution systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance, planning and scheduling.
- Automation, Electrical, and / or Instrumentation experience, Allen Bradley and/or Siemens.
- Knowledge of predictive technologies (MCE, vibration, infrared, ultrasound, machinery lubrication).
- Working knowledge of PLC operations
