RESPONSIBILITIES:

Electrician will provide the highest work quality and standards acceptable to Fairmont Baku. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, Electrician is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of facility maintenance for our colleagues and our Guests.• Solve electrical problems to ensure uninterrupted operation of the system• Performing routine work on Electrical Engineering• Responsible for servicing and attending to repairs on various types of equipment such as laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, including motors, pumps, fans, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plant and electricity generators, electric lights & powers, telephone, TV, fire lives and safety equipment & system.• Taking actions for preventative maintenance/work order system as assigned based on qualifications• Operation of electrical test equipment to determine the location and type of electrical faults.• Leading to inspecting and replacing all of fire prevention equipment on property• Responding to emergency/Fire alarm calls from Hotel• Being responsible for safe condition and safe operation of all equipment both permanent and portable for the requirements of their job• Ensuring that all work orders assigned will be completed with the least delay possible and to the standards of Fairmont Baku• Being knowledgeable of and assisting other trades people as required• Reporting electrical maintenance issues and deficiencies, and resolving these issues where appropriate• Properly using and maintaining electrical equipment• Safely operating tools such as hand tools, cables, electrical materials ,log splitter• Safely deploying and utilizing ladders, and scaffolding equipment• Adhering to and promoting the company’s health & safety policies to ensure a safe work environment and is knowledgeable about all safety & emergency procedure• Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.• Provide special expertise to all repair and maintenance of various engineering equipment, plants and systems.• Prepare spare parts lists for engineering requirements.• Prepares detail annual maintenance plan and periodic maintenance requirements for each respective item of those.• Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work of the Hotel premises including any new additions / extensions to the Hotel or any other properties maintained by the Hotel.• Participate in trainings regularly and apply the knowledge gained in the trainings in their daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical school graduate either in one of the trades of electrical/electronic/mechanical/refrigeration & air conditioning/ plumbing or obtains vocational training• Fluency in English (verbal & written), Azerbaijani and Russian an asset• General knowledge and/or experience of most building trade• Basic electrical ability, including knowledge of plumbing carpentry and general maintenance
