 The Maintenance unit at Hydro Sunndal currently consists of 58 employees. The unit is divided into Project; responsibility for follow-up and implementation of project portfolio, Maintenance support; responsibility for improving the maintenance process and Central Maintenance, which consists of a vehicle workshop, electric / auto group that supports the production units, and a 5-shift organization with the primary task of solving corrective maintenance assignments. 

We are looking for a new Electrician to maintain a high standard in the field of maintenance. 

Area of ​​responsibility

As an Electrician in our facilities, you perform preventive, planned and corrective maintenance on process and operating equipment. The tasks will include:

• Perform jobs scheduled in our maintenance system SAP.
• Perform daily maintenance and inspection rounds.
• Be in close dialogue with the maintenance manager in the department.
• Participate in the performance of maintenance tasks, downtime and audits.
• Operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and automation processes.
• Problem solving in collaboration with skilled workers or operating organization.

Working hours are daytime, but if necessary it may be relevant to take turns.

The position reports to the Area Manager Maintenance

Wanted qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Certificate in electrical engineering Gr. L. 
• A trade certificate as an Automator is also an advantage
• You must have good oral and written presentation skills, both in Norwegian and English. 
• Driving license class B.
• Driver's license for crane (G4), truck (T4) and lift is desirable.

You are service-minded, like working in teams, take initiative and are committed. Knowledge of automation systems, low voltage electrical distribution and PLC system is an advantage. Experience from maintenance in the process industry or similar type of industrial activity is desirable. You must have the ability to communicate and collaborate well with all parts of the organization and be focused on improvement work. We are looking for a candidate who is committed, creative and enterprising, and you must be neat and structured.
