Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 years’ experience in manufacturing with hands on experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overtime or weekends if necessary (for projects)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance
• High level of mechanical aptitude required
• Experience with high pressure hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience with automated material handling systems
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and manuals
• Experience troubleshooting magnetic controls (e.g. switches, relays and solenoids)
• Knowledge and experience terminating transformers and electric motors
• Solid understanding of OSHA’s electrical safe work practices (e.g. Lock-out/Tag-out, NFPA 70 Electrical Code, NFPA 79 Machinery Standards)
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic troubleshooting and calibration for electronics
• Basic knowledge of servo and stepper motors and drives
• Experience with installing and fashioning electrical conduit and installing electrical wireway and associated hangers
• Able to use DVM, analog type multi-meter, Amprobe, megger, oscilloscope and soldering station
