Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical systems, computers, building and machinery.
- Working knowledge of AC and DC power supplies, 3 phase, single phase, generators, PLC and electronic equipment.
- Working knowledge and use of electronic or electrical testing equipment.
- Work from and maintain electrical drawings, schematic and prints.
- Working knowledge of electronic/electrical codes.
- Assist in new installation and upgrades of plant equipment.
- Conduct process check as required.
- Work with outside contractors to maintain the fire alarm system in proper working order.
- Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures.
- Assist and support other production floor operations as required.
- Properly complete all administrative tasks, including log books, data entry, jumper log and record keeping.
- Meet all other duties and responsibilities of a team member of Crown Cork and Seal.

Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical School Associate or Certificate required. (Maintain Journeyman Electrician card in WI.)
- Circuit checks for voltage and taking amp readings. D.C. devices, including power supplies, sensors and solenoids.
- 24VDC magnetic controls, including related switches, replays and solenoids.
- Single and variable speed motors.
- Transformers and AC variable frequency drivers. (1200AC/240VAC/480VAC).
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 Standard, OSHA Electrical Standard, Lock Out/Tag out requirements and other safety procedures related to the job.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic electronics for troubleshooting and calibration of components and the National Electrical Code.
- Demonstrated ability on how to use multi-meter, amprobe, oscilloscope and soldering station.
- Know how to use PLCs for trouble shooting purposes and programming of equipment.
- Basic knowledge of servo and stepper motors and drivers.
- Able to effectively use DOS and Windows applications.
- Able to fashion and run electrical conduit using pipe benders and threaders.
- Able to communicate well with production crews and work together as a team member.
- Must be able to stand continuously for more that 8+ hours per shift.
- Must be able to walk, lift/carry up to 50 lbs on occasion.
- Must be able to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to twist at the waist and ben bend repetitively.
- This position may also require climbing or balancing.
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours shifts, both day and evening.
