Job Description

To keep working on IKOS’ growth and strengthen our engineering department in Belgium, we are recruiting an electrical hardware engineer to work on projects within the energy sector.

Your tasks

• Design, draw, monitor and coordinate electrical studies in accordance with the specifications and in compliance with deadlines.• Work in collaboration with the client, project manager and the project engineer• Write calculation notes• Make sure the new installation respects the Belgian and European standards• Establish all the necessary documentation for the successful realization of the project (lists of connections, list of cables, layout plans)• Prepare the working documents for the workshop and construction work, as well as test procedures• Technical monitoring of a construction site

Your profile

• Master’s degree in engineering with option electricity/electromechanics/automation• At least 3 years of experience• Experience with electrical design• Good knowledge of electrical equipment (circuit breaker, relays, fuses…) and ability to draw and read electrical plans• Good analytical skills and solution oriented• Knowledge in EPLAN, AUTOCAD, Trace Elec calc, Caneco or Dialux is a plus• Fluent in French and English, Dutch is a plus Who are we?
