Your responsibilities

• Design of interconnecting harness for mechanisms for space and terrestrial application
• Creation of conceptual designs in 3D (CATIA V5) of interconnecting harness incl. selection of cabling and connectors
• Concretization / optimization of the design (technical / economical)
• Calculation of electrical parameters of the electrical components and associated harness
• Create purchasing specifications
• Execution of detailed designs (harness routing, connector location, etc) in 3D CAD
• Preparation and configuration of technical documentation for the electrical components and using CAD and SAP
• Communication and coordination with internal and external departments (German and English)
• Advising / supporting the departments responsible for fabrication, assembly and testing
• Contribution to the preparation of Technical offers

Your Profile

• Technical education (BSc level required, MSc prefered)
• Several years of experience with electrical design (circuit design, calculation of electrical parameters and dimensioning of components)
• Experience with CAD for electrical harness design – EPLAN, ZUKUEN
• Very good knowledge in 3D CAD systems preferably CATIA V5
• Experience in writing technical documentation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100 environment
• Experience working in lab environment with the test of electrical systems
• Positive, solution-oriented person, able to cope with stress
• Dynamic, proactive person, able to manage different projects in parallel
• Good German and good English skills
