Overview: EEPM is responsible for design and release of electronic brake systems. Job function includes supporting test requests, prototype procurement orders, validation support, perform design reviews, prepare, check and release drawings, bill of materials and all related documentation to support electronic modules release. Act as part of a team (internal and OEMs) supporting product development for customer specific applications. Preparation of engineering documentation and cooperation with other EBS departments and electronic controller suppliers. Develop electronic modules, components, and vehicle packaging for the electronic brake modulators (ESC systems) according to requirements. Work with manufacturing to conduct feasibility studies and create test plans for new and modified designs.
• Review customer requirement for VED EBS electrical products.
• Recommend or define requirements for correct electronic module to meet customer requirements for new development projects.
• Review and release of Circuit Analysis by preparing documentation and leading technical discussion.
• Conduct electronic control unit modules simulations/tests for the purposes of projects validation.
• Perform bench testing of EBS ECUs to determine compatibility with the vehicle electrical system.
• Support of activities related to customer and supplier, including meeting preparation, meeting attendance, meeting minutes, and follow up of general EBS electronic controller issues.
• Coordination and cooperation with other EBS departments including Germany based development departments to achieve successful integration of the EBS electronic controller into the EBS system.
• Experience in electrical circuit design, documentation and bench testing level.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Working knowledge of laboratory tools for electrical testing (Oscilloscope, Power Supply, digital multimeter).
• Change management (documenation and part number release).
• Create, track and implement process cycle timing to correlate with customer timelines (MSProject).
• Able to operate as part of a team for internal and external customer interface.
• Generate concepts for improved designs and processes.
• Perform DFMEA and data reviews with customers.
• Ensure input and output is within prescribed interface guidelines (drawings, test orders).
• Release components based on fulfillment of requirements.
