ProMariner® a Brunswick ASG company, the leader in the Marine Battery Charging industry is growing and expanding its Auburn New Hampshire New Product Design Center. 

We are looking for an Energetic Electrical Engineer to join our team, reporting to our senior electrical engineering staff. This position will assist with a number of exciting new product development projects annually in addition to product testing, validation, certification and quality metrics.

Come be part of an exciting outdoor recreational global leader in the Marine and Mobile industries.  Our design center fosters and enjoyable and creative work environment with a small team set resulting in consumer marine electronics products merchandised in retail locations within 12 to 18 months. Seeking an energetic, smart, resourceful individual who wants to be on a winning team that has a lot to offer.

Responsibilities Include:

Engineering:

  • Work with design center leadership on product concept development, review and present battery topologies to best meet product and market needs.
  • Develop specifications via competitive product research.
  • Test battery specifications and ensure products meet all design and best practice guidelines
  • Be part of our Design Reviews, and product validation test programs that ensure all Pro Mariner products meet appropriate safety, reliability, and performance standards.
  • Manage project deliverables to ensure on time development
  • Document project progress and archive specifications, designs, and testing through our established process
  • Configure test equipment via hardware and software development
  • Experience with C, C++ or Python will be for Test development is a plus

Quality Assurance:

  • Learn from a leader in the Marine and Performance Automotive Battery Charger industry by being actively involved in understanding product return evaluation and reporting for closed loop product improvement.

Requirements:

  • BS Electrical Engineering
  • 1 to 3 years of experience (internships apply)
  • Recent College Graduates encouraged to apply
  • Dual Degree a plus (EE/ME) but not required 
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills to effectively manage processes, schedules and convey technical direction across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable in the lab behind an oscilloscope with a schematic in hand.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Ability to travel on occasion to other company locations and client locations as needed to meet customer expectations when resolving product performance challenges. An opportunity for Limited travel 20%  based on customer, business and project needs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The ability to lift 50 lbs, disassemble products, operate hand tools, and operate a pallet jack is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
