Job Description
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and Testing control system algorithms for inverters, Chargers for energy storage systems
- Design, Develop Control software for Automotive/Off highway applications
- Perform the Software Requirement Analysis
- Unit Test the software on hardware
- Interact with Global teams on Requirement clarifications and software design discussions
- Contribute to Process Improvements
Basic Qualifications:
- 6-10 years’ experience for Bachelors (EEE / EIE ), 4 to 6 years’ experience for Masters or 2 to 4 years of experience for Ph.D candidates with experience in Controls systems design , development and Validation of fuel cell power sources, energy storage systems, hybrids, electric vehicles (EV), etc and functional validation testing
- Working knowledge on MATLAB. Knowledge of C preferred.
- Knowledge of Invertors/Chargers or similar Electrical Component product Controls
- Experience in electrical product and components testing.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Controls development of Inverters, Chargers controls with a focus on strategies development for various product operations scenarios
- Working knowledge of Power Electronics design and simulation, focussing on different converter topologies, thermal simulations, etc

- Strong project management skills – Developing, maintaining and executing to a project management plan. Ability to develop & leverage a global network of engineering resources.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Self-starter with strong project management skills
- Enjoys working in a fast paced, technically challenging environment
- Excellent debugging skills, working experience in embedded system development, experience with Vector tools.
