To stay ambitious, we need an eCommerce Trading Specialist – Marketplace who will embrace our heritage as we look to elevate our future. The opportunity.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and growing Marketplaces and Group’s Partner Program business working with a large portfolio of brands across fashion, lifestyle, and sports.  Passionate about marketplaces and e-commerce this is an opportunity for someone who is a self-starter and takes a hands-on approach to trading their brands and websites and has previous experience of working with Amazon and eBay.

Joining at period of significant investment into digital this is an amazing opportunity for someone to contribute to the growth and development of the marketplace channel. 

QUALIFICATIONS

The responsibility.

This is a hybrid role involving management of marketplaces and third-party brands’ performance on the group’s websites such as Sports Direct, House of Fraser and not limited.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders from Amazon, eBay and the marketplace agency
  • Take an active role in campaign planning and keeping the campaign calendar up to date, support with execution
  • Work to improve product upload process, optimise product content, improve brands’ presentation, supporting teams to resolve any issues as quickly as possible to optimise online sales
  • Analyse and report on Marketplace performance, creating recommendations to improve sales 
  • Produce insight information for both internal and external discussions
  • Execute site walks to make sure correct product placements and optimisation
  • Support the growth of the Partner Program third-party brands by helping with their queries: performance reports, product content optimisation and daily business 
  • Maintaining and updating any relevant documentation
  • Participate in projects, new business launches or carry out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit that will benefit the company
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholders, utilising appropriate communication and people management methods.
  • Be an active and positive contributor to the team, contributing to the overall ecommerce strategy

The person.

  • Valid working rights for the EMEA countries
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, preferably within a business/numeric related subject
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload
  • Advanced Excel skills preferable
