This is a brilliant opportunity to lead a team of commercially focussed eCommerce visual merchandisers who are responsible for delivering the onsite trading plan for clarks.co.uk and clarks.ie. – driving channel revenue and profit growth.
As a member of the ecommerce leadership team you will shape and deliver the trading plan, contributing to the overall product and customer journey throughout all campaigns. You will have a curious and entrepreneurial mindset to play a valuable role in building a fantastic departmental culture and improving the ecommerce customer experience and proposition.
The role
Operating in an extremely fast paced commercial environment the Ecommerce Trading & Performance Manager you will lead, coach and mentor a team of eCommerce specialists across our Men’s, Womens, Kids and Originals categories on our owned websites in UK and ROI.
You will be experienced in leading an ecommerce trading function – understanding, by using a broad suite of analytical tools how to optimise commercial performance. You will be experienced in seasonal planning, sales forecasting and understand the value and role that CRO can play.
You will challenge the status quo and continuously review trading performance representing the channel at key trading meetings, updating stakeholders on performance as well as responding confidently to challenges and questions to deliver on new revenue driving opportunities.
About you
Motivated by driving positive commercial outcomes, you will have proven experience as an eCommerce trading manager and leading a team within a fast-paced retail environment.
You will be experienced at working across multiple functions comfortably and be able to manage your own time efficiently. Commercially minded, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to analyse / critique and propose solutions to drive good commercial decisions.
Passion and enthusiasm are a must for this role, as is a determination to achieve results. Your experience working in a matrix environment with an understanding of Lean and Agile coupled with a highly tuned analytical ability and able to use multiple data sets will see you excel in this role.
