The role
Owning our marketplace growth strategy, you’ll decide exactly how we roll it out to increase our marketplace revenue from £1m to £5m over the next two to three years across UK and EMEA.
Fundamental to our growth plans, you’ll make sure we can trade effectively online on a variety of marketplaces – new and existing . You will own the management of new marketplace channel setup and product selection (working collaboratively with all business areas including marketing, merchandising and the project management team), the launch and then the ongoing trade optimisation activity in order to drive revenue growth, at pace, from this channel.
You’ll also make sure we’re always compliant when it comes to legislation, policy, contracts and delivering on all associated commercial and customer SLAs. You will also seek out new and innovative ways as to how we can increase revenue and margin from this channel to deliver against our strategic ambitions.
With a curious, entrepreneurial mindset, a strong track record of delivering improved commercial performance and experience of working in a fast paced ecommerce, retail environment you’ll be a first point of contact when it comes all things related to our growing marketplace channel.
A bit about you
As a senior level professional, your reputation will precede you – you will have experience in ecommerce trading, setting up and delivering growth from marketplaces and have a keen eye for data analysis to make well rounded commercial decisions. With a background in retail and ecommerce you’ll also understanding of end-to-end operational and business processes.
