Job Description

We are looking for an Ecommerce Account Executive to join our growing Ecommerce Marketing team at our Head Office in York on a full-time basis (39.5 hours per week). This is a new role which we are looking to fill with someone who wants to help us maximise online sales and profitability by managing key trading accounts such as Next and M&S, whilst actively looking to pursue new business opportunities and supporting expansion through partnerships and collaboration. This role’s responsibilities span both Pavers and Jones Bootmaker brands.

We offer flexible start and end times to the working day; core office hours are 9.30-3.30pm and some hybrid working once induction is complete and free Parking onsite.

We also own the Jones Bootmaker and Herring Shoes footwear businesses, remain acquisitive, and employ over 1600 people. Key Responsibilities of our Ecommerce Account Executive:

  • Manage and enhance the Pavers & Jones Bootmaker presence across established marketplaces, actively auditing websites and proposing change to improve performance
  • Actively research and initiate discussions with new marketplaces, approaching opportunities with a commercial mindset and using analytical skills to present opportunities to key stakeholders
  • Create and manage a directory of all marketplaces and partner sites, including key contacts and commercial agreements
  • Ensure that all product information and imagery is up to date, accurate and in keeping with all legal requirements
  • Create a roadmap of future launches, working closely with the Senior Ecommerce Trading Executive and other internal departments to optimise performance across new and existing marketplaces
  • Develop critical path’s and identify key milestones for all key stakeholders to work to, when integrating with new Marketplaces

Requirements to be our Ecommerce Account Executive:

This role would suit an individual with strong experience in building and managing relationships, with a trading mentality and a commercial approach to business. You’ll ideally have 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or managing marketplace accounts and have the drive to further your career in an exciting area of the business.

You’ll need to be highly analytical, be able to work at a fast pace and adapt to an ever-changing retail environment. Communication, both written and verbal, will be key skill to display, to work with cross functional teams to maximise website performance, driving those all-important sales and aiding in the delivery of sales and profit growth in line with the business’s 5 year marketing plan.

We look for positive individuals with a ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for footwear and marketing! You’ll need strong excel skills and a high attention to detail to make a success of this role.

Salary: circa £24,000 depending on experience
