Job duties and Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 10-12 CPI projects across various stages of implementation

• Lead regular cross functional team meetings or workshops to define the problem, create a project plan, implement immediate customer containment actions, identify & investigate issue root causes, facilitate solution(s) creation, validation, and implementation.

• Work throughout the value streams to ensure solutions are implemented worldwide optimally, regularly creating/updating publications & systems for communication to worldwide dealers, regularly summarizing reporting to leaders/clients/dealers on project status and escalating appropriately when roadblocks are encountered. (Rough Split -> 50% technical leadership, 25% communication, 25% supply chain coordination)

• Must be able to effectively manage the program by identifying right resources to meet the deadlines.

• Good functional knowledge on Transmission / Lower Powertrain system & subsystems.

• Must be able to communicate technically with process partners on a regular basis

• Should have the ability to gather relevant data, synthesizes the data and identify relationships to predict failure modes.

• Should have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.

• Must be very customer focused and can drive change throughout the enterprise effectively & able to manage risk and ambiguity on a project.

Educational Background: 

Requires an accredited Mechanical or Automobile engineering, with 12 plus years of relevant experience and have exhibited ability to work on complex assignments
