Job Summary:
Door Greeters will be responsible for monitoring their assigned entrance to welcome and assist patients, their families, and visitors to Gritman Medical Center.
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience
Customer Service experience, preferred
Required Certifications
MOAB required within two months of hire. On-the-job training.
Essential Functions:
Warmly and attentively greets patients, their families, and visitors, and reviews basic health screening questionnaire with those entering the hospital.
Creates a safe, welcoming environment for visitors and patients by ensuring entrance is free of debris and obstacles
Safeguards Gritman's environment of care by mandating all individuals entering the facility wear a mask, sanitize hands with hand sanitizer, and follows social distancing protocols.
Enforces patient visitor policies and communicates with appropriate departments via cellphone or provided radio
Answers questions and provides patients/visitors instructions to their appropriate destination
Performs related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, and instructions.
Frequent interactions with patients, patient transport technicians, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
May be expected to stand or sit in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
Environmental Conditions
May be regularly exposed to the risk of infectious diseases. Contact with patients at the testing site. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations; potentially violent or angry patients and families;
