Job Description
Essential functions of the role:
- Facilitates the flow of all product, category, brand and supplier related information and communication between the Home Office, Regional Merchandising and Regional Marketing.
- Collaborates with the Regional Merchandising Team to maintain appropriate product mix, attain sales, and meet margin goals.
- Participates in the planning and execution of key strategies and initiatives with Home Office Teams, Regional Merchandising, Regional Marketing and Divisions
- Understands, requests, and analyzes pertinent reports and resources to drive effective decision-making to provide product expertise.
- Attends and contributes to Regional Merchandising, Division Planning, Leadership meetings and Sales meetings as needed.
- Works directly with Division Leadership to identify immediate and long term needs of the Division and communicate these needs across the organization.
- Facilitate and ensure resolution to Product, Supplier and Inventory related needs.
- Ensures appropriate prioritization and speed to execution on key Division needs and initiatives.
- Works with Regional Merchandising and Inventory Teams on New Item requests and approvals, discontinuation of items and long/At risk inventory disposition strategies.
- Works with Regional Merchandising and Inventory to identify potential local supplier partners in support of both short and long term business needs. This includes providing solutions to short-term out of stock and regional product needs.
- Participates in and provides input as needed in Division Service Level Action Meeting (SLAM) calls.
- Collaborates with Regional Merchandising Leadership to ensure product gap and market pricing analysis.
- Works with Regional Merchandising Managers to facilitate Pre-Deck Category Market Reviews (CMR) information from the Division.
- Works with Regional Merchandising, Regional Marketing and Vendor/Broker Managers to facilitate communication to Divisions for major supplier/product changes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years food service experience
- Sales, Marketing, Merchandising and/or Supply Chain explain
- Multi-Department experience in two or more of these areas is preferred.
- Excel experience
- Google application experience
