Employee works in a warehouse environment and functions on a team, performing multiple duties exemplifying total quality and service, thereby ensuring parts are efficiently received, inventoried, packaged and shipped to multiple customers. Work schedule for the operation includes multiple shifts. Duties are primarily semi-skilled with various physical requirements. Since changing business requirements necessitate movement, the work location may be any of several departments.
Job Responsibilities:
Utilize manual and motorized equipment to move incoming and/or outgoing parts to predetermine warehouse locations.
Follow bills of material, picking documents and/or blueprints to determine and obtain parts, set-up/lay-out, sort, count and package various parts into kits. Fold and label boxes for kit storage. Complete appropriate forms. Obtain information via computer on parts to breakdown, sort and distribute according to customers’ written orders. Verify shipments during order consolidation and box/seal complete customer order. Complete appropriate forms.
Complete tasks as scheduled by following established methods, policies and procedures. Exercise judgment and initiative in planning ahead, anticipating problems and completing various job assignments
