Disney Planning Center Specialists create magic for our Guest before they arrive for their experience and for their stay. The Disney Planning Center Specialist is an hourly role plus the potential for incentive and is located at a non-Disney resort. The Disney Planning Center Specialists will sell Guest's the theme park ticket that best fits their needs. The Disney Planning Center Specialist will educate Guests on how to use My Disney Experience and related components. The Disney Planning Center Specialist will support Guests before their arrival by phone or email.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Guest and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent service to our Guests & Cast
• Engage with Guests by addressing needs, answering questions, giving directions and other information
• Meet required departmental metric expectations including productivity goals
• Adaptability to the fluctuating needs of our operations
• Prolong standing and walking in various areas of the resort
• Passion & knowledge of Disney Product
• Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
• Complete all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned
• Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
• Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies

Basic Qualifications

• Manage conflict resolution and make decisions through a delicate balance of integrity and partner resourcing
• Strong sales and closing skills and the ability to overcome objections
• Sound judgment and decision making
• Navigate between multiple and concurrent computer applications
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Disney Central Cast members: No more than one F/O (Falling Behind/OffTrack) in Presenteeism in the last six months, and no more than one reprimand within the last six months

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience at Walt Disney World in a Guest facing role
• Cash handling experience
• Bilingual
• Knowledge of:

  • SnAPP
  • Guest Service Suite (GSS)
  • My Disney Experience
  • A la Carte
  • Zendesk
  • Sharepoint
