Job Description

As a Disney Planning Center Specialists you will create magic for our Guests by helping them plan their perfect visit to our Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. The Disney Planning Center Specialist position is a Guest-facing, front of house, hourly role, with the potential for an incentive. You will be based at a non-Disney resort location, or at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Disney Planning Center Specialists will sell Guests the theme park ticket that best fits their needs. As a Disney Planning Center Specialist you will educate Guests on how to use My Disney Experience and related components. The Disney Planning Center Specialist may also support Guests before their arrival by phone or email.

The hourly pay for this position is $16.50/hour

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with Guest and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent service to our Guests and Cast
  • Engage with Guests by addressing needs, answering questions, giving directions and other information
  • Meet required departmental metric expectations including productivity goals
  • Prolonged standing and walking in multiple areas of the resort
  • Passion and knowledge of Disney Product
  • Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Complete all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
  • Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies

Basic Qualifications

  • Manage conflict resolution and make decisions through a delicate balance of integrity and partner resourcing
  • Sales and closing skills and the ability to overcome objections
  • Navigate between multiple and concurrent computer applications
  • Communicate with Guest and Cast Member in-person, on the phone and through email
  • Disney Central Cast members: No more than one F/O (Falling Behind/OffTrack) in Presenteeism in the last six months, and no more than one reprimand within the last six
  • One (1) year of experience at Walt Disney World in a Guest facing role
  • Cash handling experience
  • Bilingual
  • Presenteeism in the last six months, and no more than one reprimand within the last six

  • Knowledge of:
    • ATS
    • SnAPP
    • Guest Service Suite (GSS)
    • My Disney Experience
