The Role

We are looking for a Director of WI IT Strategy and Planning who is a can-do thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills. You will collaborate with WI Technology senior leadership in defining and measuring key initiatives, establishing best practices, and managing resource alignment, and budget. In addition, your responsibilities include:
Centralizing leadership and governance of strategic goals and long-term planning functions for WI Technology
Capturing and communicating vision and key strategies related to:
Multi-year planning goals and objectives
Strategic collaterals
Working on solutions to simplify processes, streamline communications, improve associate engagement, and drive consistency across the organization
Providing Managers greater visibility into data and trends to evaluate progress and identify watch areas
Reporting & Analytics (staffing, planning, etc.) to provide managers better visibility into data and trends to evaluate progress and watch areas
Managing IT cost structure and global workforce model
Continuously collaborating with teams across the firm – HR, Finance, Supplier Management, Global Business Services, and Agile Readiness Office
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7 – 10 years of work experience in program management or related technology leadership (finance background a plus)
Design-thinking approach to strategy supported by strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills that transform the intangible to quantifiable
Expertise in critical thinking and observation to research, analyze, interpret, formulate, and communicate findings
Experience with communications tools (Zoom, Yammer, CMT, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Video) to support delivery of executive communications
Excellent listening and inter-personal skills that foster collaborative relationships up, down, and across the organization
Outstanding communication skills; able to relay information efficiently and effectively through engaging presentations, written communication, and verbal discussions
Ability to influence the successful execution of key strategic initiatives
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Agility to support ad-hoc requests and deliver information that will help senior leadership make informed business decisions
Willingness to take on responsibilities that may be outside your areas of expertise
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including presentations to senior leadership
Ability to navigate in a matrixed environment, forge critical partnerships, influence effectively, and develop solutions which result in a great outcome for everyone
Mixture of business and technology expertise defining, managing, and communicating technology strategy for large, multi-functional teams
Experience analyzing, tracking, managing budgets, and resourcing needs across multiple Agile entities (Chapter Areas, Product Areas and Domains)
Ability to acquire, synthesize, and interpret data into executive themes, strategies, and performance measurements
Must bring flawless execution and results in role of organizational navigator and collaborator.
The Team
This dynamic WI IT Strategy and Planning team supports the development, governance, and alignment of WI Technology development activities across multi-year business goals and objectives. The team supports development and execution of the communication plan for the technology leadership team, and leads planning, execution and analytics for leadership and associate meetings.
