Summary:

This position, reporting to VP US Brand Lead Mavacamten, will play a central and critical role in supporting the ongoing preparation and execution of the Mavacamten launch, which is an important asset for the future of the growing CV portfolio at BMS. This leadership role will touch upon many facets of the Mavacamten brand, including leadership of the important customer experience (CX) workstream, and will provide a great opportunity to accelerate brand ownership learning and experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Key member of the US Mavacamten Leadership team, creating and driving agenda per brand goals and objectives

  • Provide broad Strategy and Operations support for Mavacamten, including – but not limited to – leadership of the various Mavacamten matrix teams

  • Manage a team of two coordinator

  • Support VP Mavacamten to ensure involvement and preparedness for engagement with broader organization as well as external audiences

  • Lead & own the execution and further development of the Mavacamten customer experience (CX) workstream, working across partner matrix teams to ensure workstream is aligned closely to brand strategy

  • Drive preparation of key senior management reviews and strategy presentations

  • Working closely with CV/EB BU & Eliquis Strat and Ops, Finance and BI&A, to ensure full readiness for all financial processes including annual budget and ongoing projections

  • Lead strategic and functional brand planning efforts for Mavacamten, with responsibility for identifying and driving initiatives across multiple key matrix partners to address emerging business trends

  • Serve as a critical interface between key US matrix team partners and the WW team to drive towards strategic areas of focus and identify key issues

  • Develop and execute plan for driving innovation and capability development in partnership with WW commercialization operations

Internal/External Stakeholders: 

  • Brand Team (Marketing, Medical, VAP, Sales)

  • Patient Access & Support Services

  • Partnering functions such as Finance, Business Insights & Analytics, Multi-channel partners, IT, and Associated CV/EB BU Brand partners

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred (e.g., Pharm D)

  • 10+ years of relevant marketing/ brand/commercialization management experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences

  • Entrepreneurial & problem-solving mindset

  • Commercial functional knowledge; familiarity with US market dynamics and legal/regulatory landscape preferred

  • Experience working with and leading multi-functional matrix teams to accomplish specified goals

  • Must possess the ability to build alignment and drive performance across matrix teams through personal influence

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast moving and increasingly complex environment with limited direction is required

  • Expertise in Customer Experience (pharma/biotech, or outside of industry) preferred

  • Strategic thinking, with an ability to take an enterprise perspective
