Role
As the Director, Sales/RM Learning and Engagement you will be instrumental in ensuring that the Fidelity Institutional Client Relationship Group has the knowledge and skills necessary to execute on the goals set forth by the business. Your primary focus will be supporting the Investment Sales organization from a sales training perspective. Your ability to be proactive and anticipate business needs, successfully build productive relationships, communicate effectively, project management skills and execution are all critical elements to be successful in the role.
We seek someone who has passion and thrives in developing and delivering impactful and innovative learning solutions that will drive sales and increase associate skill sets. This individual will be a strong, self-directed leader who can support comprehensive projects that impact the CRG organization. Industry knowledge & investment sophistication will be critical to building credibility in this role. Additionally, this role will be responsible for reinforcement training of existing knowledge and skills. Alignment with enterprise goals, an eye towards building scalable solutions, and a laser focus on measurement are all critical components for this role.
The Expertise and Skills You Have
5-7 years of financial services and client facing sales experience
Track record of success managing multiple large, sophisticated, cross functional competing projects and initiatives and prioritize resources and time effectively
Bachelor’s degree
FINRA Series 7 and 63 required or obtained within 90 days
You have the ability to communicate effectively, influence and navigate complex organizations
Your ability to facilitate sales training, work autonomously, and project manage is essential
You have strong presentation skills as well as solid written and verbal communication skills
You can communicate at all levels within the organization
You have significant product, industry, and market knowledge
You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks within tight time constraints
You are a true team player, always pitching in to drive success across the organization
You are extremely resourceful, organized, and can prioritize multiple priorities
You can successfully deliver & receive feedback to positively affect behavior
The Value You Deliver
Build productive partnerships with sales leaders to understand/uncover needs and priorities, deliver the best learning solution gaining scale where appropriate
Facilitate onboarding, technology releases, product launches & all other ad-hoc requests
Foster innovation in learning
Serve as program manager for the Investment Sales onboarding programs
Facilitate new technology releases, product launches & all other ad-hoc requests
Deliver coaching feedback directly to participants and managers to foster development
The Team
The Intermediary investment Sales team is solely responsible for distributing Fidelity managed investment products and solutions through intermediaries such as Broker Dealers, Registered Investment Advisors, Defined Contribution, and Institutional Insurance providers. The company offers Fidelity Advisor Funds®, ETFs, SMAs, Alternative products, Model Portfolios, Variable Insurance Product (VIP) Portfolios, the Fidelity Advisor 529 Plans and a comprehensive line of retirement products and services.
