The Director of post production oversees the team, projects, and campaigns in support of The Walt Disney Company’s creative content and marketing organizations. This includes team management, budget planning, as well as oversight of color correction, editing, audio mixing, reformatting, and titling in a high-volume deadline-driven hybrid environment. In this role, she/he leads cross-functional teams and creative agencies to assess the scope and challenges of multiple concurrent productions, projects, and campaigns, and guides the planning to successfully deliver and meet competing deadlines. This position requires is a team champion who is trusting, professional, respectful, and is committed to creating a safe inclusive environment for team members to develop, grow and thrive. This leader will build relationships with internal and external technology, operations, and creative teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive efficiency at scale. This all requires strong knowledge of current and emerging post production technology and workflows, a strategic mindset, and is responsible for annual budget forecasting, evaluation, and guiding implementation of hardware, software, and technical solutions.
Under Disney Media Entertainment and Distribution (DMED) Networks group, the DMED Commercial Marketing Operations Team works closely with The Walt Disney Company’s creative content organizations and creative marketing teams, providing operational support across multiple business units to produce and deliver top quality content globally. The DMED Finishing team at Prospect Studios performs at the highest level using cutting edge software and hardware tools. Those inside this group work together to identify and solve issues before distribution, creating sound and picture that are unsurpassed in quality across the globe.
