The Role

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

5+ years of financial services experience, and/or 2+ years implementing large, sophisticated technology platforms using Agile practices with experience in Managed Accounts/Advisor Led Solutions.

Client experience design and development in a Financial Services, experience in Managed Account, Digital, Mobile or a Robo Advisor offering is a plus.

Empowered to actively make connections, form relationships, analyze problems, and come up with shared solutions across different squads, Product areas and Domains

Ability to work with technology teams using agile methodology, e.g.: story writing, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

Ability to drive alignment between partners across the organization

Comfortable working directly with offshore development team – some schedule flexibility required at times

Ability to balance business needs with regulatory requirements, negotiating and gaining agreement with LRC

Strong project management skills and driven to own several initiatives at once

Knowledge and familiarity of wealth offerings and how they are sold and serviced in Fidelity’s retail distribution model.

Able to be persistent in the face of challenges and maintain a positive, can do attitude

Bachelor’s or equivalent degree required

Relevant Financial Services certifications such as: FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses a plus.

Helping the squad achieve specific and measurable critical metrics

Staying close to the customer, and understanding customer needs

Keeping a pulse on emerging financial services trends

Synthesizing complex data from multiple, disparate sources and present analysis, relevant insights, and themes in a simple/clear way

Innovating – thinking outside of the box/ beyond traditional financial services experiences

Collaborative subject matter expert in the following areas:

Application of multi-channel solutions to address consumers’ goal-based needs, wants and preferences

Driving competitive advantage through outstanding customer experience and targeted customer communications

Eye for business, along with your strategic and analytical skills that allows you to make decisions based on both hard and soft data

Understanding of the Agile way of working

Technology knowledge that will assure that capabilities drive flexibility, scale, and efficiency to support the growth of the business in alignment with Fidelity’s technology strategy.

Agile practices that will enable the team to rapidly deploy new features for our customers, drive takeaways, and identification of additional improvements.

Cross-functional collaboration skills to navigate a matrixed environment with a range of priorities and perspective.

Listening skills to integrate varied perspectives and achieve better outcomes than one would see individually.

Presentation skills to help achieve agreement with multiple audiences.

The Team

Our greatest Asset is Our People! The Managed Solutions Account Opening, Onboarding and Sleeve Management Squad has a steadfast commitment to our clients and is a key part of the Managed Solutions Product area. This squad is responsible for building out and maintaining the Account Onboarding capability to provide Fidelity clients with the ability to open a Managed Account and fund their account with Cash and/or Securities. The capability provides a frictionless customer experience in the onboarding client journey. The team is a multi-functional group of individuals with business, technology and user experience expertise located in the US and India. A high level of collaboration with key partners across the Wealth Management domain, PI Distribution, Strategic Advisers, Fidelity Brokerage Technology, and Legal, Risk and Compliance.
