Your contribution

• Provide technical expertise on market development, including private sector engagement and capacity building, design of sanitation products and service improvements, and entrepreneurship.
• Oversee market landscaping and ensure that products and services are high-quality and affordable for the consumer.
• Work with the private sector, civil society, and government partners to develop market-led solutions to market.
• Develop implementation strategies to improve the demand and supply of affordable and higher quality sanitation products and services.
• Ensure institutional engagements in support of private sector participation.
• Represent the Project on public-private sector issues at strategic planning meetings with collaborators and donors.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in related field required. Masters' degree (or international equivalent) in related field preferred.
• Minimum ten years of related professional work experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• In depth knowledge of accounting principles, finance and funder regulations (especially USAID).
• Excellent organizational skills and strong customer service focus and analytical skills.
• Strong accounting knowledge, analytical/problem solving skills, creativity and initiative.
• Strong financial analysis and Excel skills.
• Demonstrated experiences in country office finance leadership positions.
• Experience with large ERP systems, such as Infor Lawson, as well as knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.
• Chartered Accountant/CPA equivalent preferred.
