Director, National Calendar & Brand Marketing
Description: Pizza Hut U.S. is seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to serve as Director of National Calendar & Brand Marketing, reporting to the Chief Brand Officer. The director will lead a team responsible for developing and executing Pizza Hut's National Calendar including the launch and maintenance of new product innovation, offers and supplemental tactics to fuel growth. This individual will be a critical and influential leader for the business, building a long-term vision to drive immediate customer traffic while maximizing franchise profitability.
The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker, collaborator, and innovator who can effectively lead a team to drive results in a matrixed organization, and who can deliver clarity and direction from an often ambiguous and complex consumer space.
Responsibilities:
National Calendar Strategic Planning
- Align the Brand Marketing team's focus and efforts with the organization's broader goals and strategies, playing an active role in strategic decision-making and thought leadership
- Think and act with a broader business lens, delivering actionable consumer and data-driven insights to inspire growth across the organization
- Maximize the impact and engagement of his/her team through inspiring leadership, talent management, and individual and team development
- Oversee the development and execution of multi-year National Calendar strategy and go-to-market plan, including research, analysis, market testing, positioning development, creative brief ownership, and cross-functional team leadership
- Guide the execution of detailed calendar window and test market analysis by your team members to identify opportunities and formulate action plans for immediate and/or future improvements
- Lead business case development to support recommendations to be presented to internal and franchisee leadership
- Encourage team to use external research, internal data, cultural trends, consumer insights, and creative brainstorming to serve as the voice for the Pizza Lover consumer while developing strategic tactics and creative briefs
Go-To-Market Leadership
- Partner with advertising, media, and product marketing leadership to bring breakthrough creative strategies to life in all media channels
- Partner with the Marketing Innovation team to ensure a prioritized pipeline that fuels growth
- Build productive relationships with internal stakeholders: culinary, finance, restaurant supply chain, operations, training, legal, and franchisees

Experience and Education:
- 10+ years of consumer marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Must have experience in brand management, product marketing, and/or calendar strategy and execution
- Must have experience building strong cross-functional relationships and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-pace environment
- Experience in the restaurant category, foodservice, retail, or CPG preferred
- Experience working with advertising or other creative agencies preferred
