Job Purpose:
The Director of Media will lead all strategic developments and optimization of the media campaigns that are aligned with the brand priorities in the Americas zone (US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil)Additionally, the role will also support to achieve the E-Commerce business target and improve efficiency of digital communication within Dior.This is a position for someone with experience in omnichannel media communication and digital & performance analytics.Profile
Responsibilities:•
Collaborate with cross functional business units in Americas and HQ to define media strategy in line with business priorities by season by category.
• Work with media and digital agencies to develop media plans and identify critical metrics (e.g., engagement, views, online conversations, tonal sentiment, site traffic, conversion and ROAS etc.)
• Manage all program execution including the development or localization of all assets, content and translations, issuing creative requests, managing all timelines and resources, legal approval of execution and agency contracts
.• Monthly 360 creative discussion with the Paris and local business units.
• Partner closely with E-Commerce, creative and other marketing/global communications teams to ensure programs effectively communicate the brand message and provides our consumers with an efficient cross-channel experience
.• Serve as key coordinator working with PR, E-Commerce and Merchandising teams to review campaign/business performance, upcoming launch calendar, digital strategy optimization and local content development
.• Compile competitive analysis of media programs; make strategic recommendations on new and emerging digital and social technologies, platforms and portals
.• Monitor content on all media channels and ensure consistency, accuracy and tracking is in place to measure critical metrics.
• Ensure alignment with coordinated multi-media (i.e., digital/ print/ outdoor/ national vslocal) advertising plans.
• Actively manage the budget, billing and monthly closing with finance team and HQ media team.
• Develop rapport with regional retail and wholesale teams to support their initiatives and business needs.• Other projects as assigned by the Media VP.
Qualifications & Skills:•
8+ years in media including planning and strategy; brand and digital agency experience preferred
• Expansive understanding of the luxury landscape - leading brands and their strategies
• Experience across all media types/platforms: offline media, social, video, display and programmatic media
• Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze data and develop conclusions and recommendations
• Creative thinking - ability to develop first to market strategies and tactics
• Budget and production management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; interact at all levels of management, including the executive level, to advocate and influence direction• Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment
