About the Role
Join the ground floor of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will engage across the most burning issues facing businesses, cities, and communities today and in years to come. As the Cox2M Marketing Director, you will be responsible for Cox2M’s overall go-to-market strategy and program execution. You will be responsible for developing, executing and optimizing a variety of cross-matrix, integrated marketing programs and campaigns intended to generate leads and scale our lead generation funnel in line with our rapid growth trajectory.

This role will collaborate closely with our vertical GMs and sales teams to understand overall growth objectives and translate those into a winning program of customer engagement activities across every stage of a customer’s lifecycle with Cox2M. In the process, this role will also build the foundational capabilities for marketing scale within Cox2M, creating process, tools, and relationships within and beyond Cox that can benefit all Cox2M verticals.
As a natural leader with an entrepreneurial kick and a solid experience of lead gen marketing, you’ll bring the Cox2M value proposition to life, and deliver our GTM efforts to ultimately drive forward Cox2M’s revenue growth for years to come.
Create the annual marketing strategy in line with our growth targets, and key initiatives, then monitoring, measuring, pivoting and ultimately leading the marketing team to deliver against these targets with a weekly, monthly and quarterly focus.
Become the brand ambassador for the rest of the business, ensuring our brand identity, value propositions and messaging hierarchies are successful in attracting and engaging our targets audiences.
Possess a natural obsession with the detail! We will want you to set the playbook of how we replicate our lead gen engines across new territories and new brands, so we will expect you know the detail behind running, optimizing, testing and launching each channel.
Lead your team and agencies to maximize Cox2M’s digital footprint, while ensuring we become the thought leaders in our space.
Lead the team to deliver the overall demand generation and customer engagement plans, and lead execution of the plans for identifying target segments, cultivating market interest, acquiring new leads, engaging with prospects, and ultimately converting to customers
Excel in best practice delivery, through a robust ‘test and learn’ mindset, metrics-driven decision making and ultimately creating the marketing playbooks to support our rapid scale.
Clearly articulate the vision, key deliverables and timelines to your teams, ensuring best practice execution to schedule and budget.
Working with the cross-matrix teams to create compelling content that brings our product to life in the most engaging, meaningful ways for our TAM.
Work with the Head of Commercial to design and build the Marketing and Sales Tech Stack.
Define the metrics that will indicate success. Capture and share results to celebrate wins and highlight areas for improvement. Develop insights or learnings from each activity's results in order to identify new approaches, then build and execute the plans to put those approaches into action
Share learnings and best practices across Cox2M verticals to enable consistently strong marketing and sales enablement support throughout the organization

Qualifications:
What the role requires….
10+ years of related experience: marketing, sales, creative direction, etc.
Experience in start-up businesses and/or building teams/role from the ground up
Proven experience in building marketing and sales funnels, customer engagement lifecycles, and the winning strategies and tactics at each stage
Knowledge and experience across multiple marketing channels, with the ability to build demand generation programs across the marketing channel mix.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to influence change within a cross-matrix organization, driven by data and commercial acumen.
Experience scaling teams to meet the fast-growth demands of the business.
Ability to collaborate, lead and facilitate brand and marketing discussions across the organization, from strategy through execution
Nice to haves….
Experiencing developing a marketing and sales enablement capability for a team through a combination of internal and external resources
Experience in digital marketing and rapidly expanding digital footprints to drive revenue.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without authority
