The Role
Strategic Advisers Investment Operations is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our Trade Coordination role. In this role, you will be serving as the primary liaison between SAI business, Production Support, Strategic Advisor Technology (SAT) and upstream/downstream business partners that we depend on for trading. In addition to strong technical competency, the position requires the ability to effectively work across a geographically diverse team, build and leverage relationships, and provide innovative thought leadership. You will work in close collaboration with our managed accounts investment team, technology team and key operational partners to drive seamless management of over 2 million accounts. As a leader you will help shape the future model for continuous business integration and drive a critical focus on stability in a fast-paced, complex, high-volume growth organization.
Key roles and responsibilities for this position include:
Partner with SAI Business Oversight to identify opportunities for improvement/automation of operational processes supporting aspects of trading
Actively monitor all daily trade activity; engaging the Investment team, SAT, and downstream business partners (both internal and external to Fidelity) to ensure planned reallocations are effectively communicated and can be supported based on capacity
Own trade incident management: drive resolution for any events that impact trading, e.g., batch completion, vendor feed delays; reconciliation processes; IM activities. Partner with production support to manage the inventory of incidents to identify trends
Implement Service Management protocols to clearly define entry and exit criteria for incident management, and associated problem management
Capture and track on-going trading scale needs and forecasted growth (e.g., Batch, Reruns, Releases, Allocations)
Manage all trading metrics to ensure direct visibility into accounts traded; orders released; high volume days; capacity limitations across the E2E trading model
Serve as key business contact on FSC bridges, ensuring the business impact is understood, communications are accurate and distributed and the event is managed to resolution.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
8+ years of experience in Engineering and Operational Support leadership in the financial services industry
Facilitate work prioritization based on business and technology needs
Experience in Web/cloud application engineering and design is desirable
Capable of partnering with and influencing individuals at all organizational levels
Experience in incident management and problem management.
Ability to understand the business criticality of various applications as they relate to complex business processes.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Able to understand a complex and global systems environment.
Strong knowledge of investment terms and practices is desirable.
Familiarity with Agile Project Management.
Financial systems knowledge.

Strategic Advisers > Investment Operations is a central organization within Strategic Advisers Investment Services, responsible for delivering exceptional managed account operational services that are critical to SAI’s success
Execute on daily tasks that support management account and fund trading across WI/FI/PI
Manage and report on Corporate Action events impacting accounts
Manage, analyze, and resolve client account errors & large-scale service recoveries
Support new client implementations, including ‘white glove’ service for strategic conversions
Provide share class monitoring, Investment Agreement management and fund event support
Support new products, programs and enhancements and ensure appropriate processes and operating models are in place to support execution of key objectives
