The Role
Our model is a highly collaborative HR service model which helps the business drive organizational and talent initiatives in support of the business strategy and goals. The HR Director has key accountability in managing HR’s relationship with the business, and works directly with senior leaders and their direct reports (SVPs and VPs).
The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring
10+ years of HR generalist/business partner experience
Experience motivating change initiatives and crafting strategic workforce plans
Ability to think strategically and pragmatically in order to complete and deliver the human capital strategy
Ability to partner with leaders at all levels to help influence strategic decisions and have proven the ability to provide sophisticated solutions to complex issues
Ability to connect and integrate HR priorities and services to ensure high quality service delivery
Change management and understand key points of engagement, communication, and influence
Demonstrable experience in challenging and influencing business leaders and managers on issues that could influence the operating environment
Proactive problem solver who has proven independence, autonomy and accountability when implementing your work, even in the face of ambiguity or limited precedence
Collaborator who easily forms relationships with colleagues and business partners to deliver results
Analytical approach, comfortable with data analysis tools, and possess an ability to use data to tell a story and provide consultative mentorship to leadership
Ability to master new concepts quickly and simplify sophisticated ideas into easily understood concepts
Experience working in an agile organization and/or are familiar with agile principles
Develop, align and execute people practices, programs, and initiatives in support of the business strategy for assigned clients. Programs range across business unit-specific, functional and/or enterprise in nature
Drive the integration of performance and business management processes to ensure clarity of goals and expectations for business results, align performance with rewards, and drive a culture of accountability for results
Identify organizational capabilities and associated talent needs to deliver business results; and build a plan to address using talent management tools and resources
Partner with business leaders to develop flexible workforce plans that identify future skills and plans to acquire, develop and use talent to meet the future needs of the business
Manage and implement organizational change initiatives, and may be accountable for leading a work stream or portion of a larger change management strategy
Partner closely with talent management team to build and execute initiatives that identify, assess, develop, engage and reward associates
Ensure development solutions are in place to close gaps and build capability & bench strength vital for future leaders of the business
Use data, measures and people analytics to provide key insights and influence organizational and talent decision
Advise business leaders on performance management issues and their business implications
