Overview
Pembroke is looking to hire a Director of Compensation to join our Human Resources team and support our global organization of 85+ associates in six countries. This role will act as a subject matter expert to provide active management of Pembroke’s compensation programs and pay strategy and work closely with Pembroke’s HR team and senior leaders. An ideal candidate is someone who has the consulting and leadership required to deliver pay programs and solutions in support of our overall business strategy while considering the diverse needs of a global workforce.
Responsibilities
Manage base pay, bonus, and share programs for Pembroke associates globally to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with business objectives
Consult, coach and provide sophisticated advice to HR business partners and senior leaders on complex compensation issues
Drive market data process including regular reviews and analysis of market data to inform compensation recommendations and decisions. Lead competitive market assessments and job matching
Lead annual cycle from talent assessment through pay reviews; consulting with leaders on compensation recommendations
Design and develop reports and conduct analysis related to compensation and broader HR programs/initiatives including headcount reporting
Formulate compensation recommendations for offers
Educate managers to enable sound judgment and decision making for compensation recommendations
Lead the annual comp and benefits budget process and quarterly reforecasts with Finance
Partner with and contribute to Fidelity’s compensation function as well as other internal functions (finance, legal, Devonshire Investors HR, etc.) to plan and implement internal initiatives
Lead, manage and participate in global HR projects outside of compensation in support of the Pembroke HR strategy and ongoing career development
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in hands-on delivery of compensation, finance and/or other analytical roles
Effectively manage concurrent programs, processes and initiatives collaborating with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to assimilate, analyze and present data for a variety of audiences
Experience identifying and anticipating issues and designing innovative and creative solutions
Exceptional communication skills across multiple communication channels and time-zones and ability to influence others at all levels in an organization
Expertise, confidence and skills to develop and deliver formal and informal presentations, reports and communications to executive audiences
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and project management skills as well as a willingness and ability to adapt to changing work priorities and react with appropriate flexibility
Experience in, or interest and willingness to learn, the commercial real estate business
Management of compensation programs globally is preferred
Flexibility to attend evening or morning calls with international team members
