Cox Media is seeking a Director, CFC Digital Operations, to join the Digital Ad Operations group of its Campaign Fulfillment Center organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, Cox Media CFC, this position is the liaison between Product, Sales, Technology, Business Enablement, Finance, and centralized Digital Ad Operations Managers. They will lead a team of Digital Ad Operations Managers, Campaign Managers, and Digital Ad Operation Specialists. They will provide strategic direction to ensure Cox Media has the necessary resources to meet the business needs and implement continuous improvement. As the CFC Digital Ad Operations organization leader, they will establish KPIs to support our current operation and enable Cox Media to evolve proactively to meet future business needs. In addition, they will consistently communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and recommend adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
This individual must maintain a comprehensive knowledge of digital and linear fulfillment, including new digital advertising capabilities, product offerings, processes, workflows, SLAs, and KPIs. They must also efficiently translate new products and services into adequate, actionable information for the digital fulfillment team and other stakeholders. In addition, they will lead fulfillment teams to drive superior campaign execution and results for customers. They will also determine the prioritization of products and services and direct managers on ensuring implementation of that prioritization.
The Director, CFC Digital Ad Operations, will help lead the implementation of new products and services within the CFC and across Cox Media. By maintaining a comprehensive understanding of fulfillment processes for each product, they will strategically lead through business challenges. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for continuously balancing customer needs against fulfillment requirements to ensure products and services are implemented on time while meeting customer expectations.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Strategically leads managers, exempt and non-exempt staff responsible for supporting our digital portfolio.
Advises team members on procedures, technical problems, priorities and standard methodology.
Uses comprehensive knowledge of all digital ad products and fulfillment processes to effectively launch new products and services that achieve advertiser goals and KPIs.
Detailed knowledge of both internal and outsourced digital fulfillment requirements and workflow.
Holds fulfillment providers accountable for SLA delivery and escalates issues as needed.
Monitors fulfillment status across different products and services to ensure Cox Media delivers the desired results.
Reviews campaign performance and makes every effort to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Provides and receives consistent feedback from internal stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement in the quality of service and campaign results.
Works with Sales, Technology, Product Management, and Business Enablement teams to educate them on fulfillment best practices to ensure markets are properly trained.
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $100,900 – 132,600. Salary may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.
Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Qualifications:
Minimum
BA or BS degree
5+ or more years of experience in a management role leading a multi-layer team.
5+ years of experience working in a digital advertising operations or fulfillment role.
5+ years of experience in customer service working directly with Sales, Product Development, etc.
Comprehensive knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem
Proven skills in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, analytical problem solving, listening, written, and verbal communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
Experience leading teams and working cross functionally with the launch of new products and services.
Keen problem-solving skills – ability to proactively identify potential issues, troubleshoot and quickly resolve them.
Self-starter, resourceful and excels at “getting things doneâ€.
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in strategic cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrated customer service skills with ability to build strong working relationships and consistently met or exceed customer expectations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly.
Analytical and possess the ability to evaluate data and interpret results.
Willing to travel as necessary for training, digital media events, etc.
Preferred
Prior experience specifically with Doubleclick, FreeWheel, ad exchanges, DSPs or similar advertising systems and technologies
