Job Description

This Construction professional will have experience with a large GC as an MEP coordinator and will be responsible for leading, developing, and delivering all construction related support for the PMO inclusive of estimating, scheduling, QA/QC and safety on all projects. Managing construction means and methods ensuring local, state, and federal permitting and code requirements are being met.

Basic Qualifications

• Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meets the client needs.
• Guide the team through the design implementation process including conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and signoffs.
• Oversee a team to manage all project construction documentation including contracts, budgets and schedules as well as ensure compliance with contract and client expectations.
• Contribute to the growth of the company through project execution and new opportunity identification.
• Prepare various RFP’s needed for vendor and contractor services for the complete project.
• Follow procedures for distribution, receipt, opening, leveling and award of project bids.
• Meet assigned financial targets and forecasting.
• Training of PM team
• Support development of PM Tools and techniques
• Marketing functions including presentations, RFQ responses, and other duties as assigned.
• Manage all Subcontractors and Safety performance
• Develop and maintain the Master Project Schedule.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Business, Interior Design, Engineering or Construction.
• PMP and/or LEED AP preferred.
• Minimum 15 years project management experience in all aspects of Design, Construction, Construction Management
• Must have experience/skills in construction management: MEP Coordinator for a large GC preferable.
• Computer proficient, including knowledge in the following programs: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project.)
