Leading the Commercial Partners and Capability Deployment Partners, whose focus is on understanding the needs of our Commercial associates and deploying the outcomes that make business impact, the job holder will be involved driving the One Commercial transformation agenda. In the “Define/Design/Develop/Deploy/ Embed” model, this role will be accountable to Define, Design & Develop and creating the Deploy models for global transformation and change programs that will support the value delivery of Commercial as well as personally driving the SRM program.  The accountability for Deploy is shared with the segments, and the accountability for Embed is owned by the segments.

What we’re looking for:

•     Bachelor’s degree or higher

•     Ideally an additional qualification in Procurement e.g. CIPS

  • 5-10 years+ procurement experience
  • Global procurement strategy development
  • Stakeholder management across global markets
  • Influence without authority
  • Leadership of complex and/or broad and/or global programs
  • Comfort around senior leadership

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Accountable for the co-creation and development of the One Commercial strategies and interventions.
  • Line Manage and Lead the Commercial Capabilities & Engagement team to ensure successful implementation of the One Commercial strategies through the “Define/Design/Develop/Deploy/Embed” model across segments and geographies. 
  • Provide counsel and support to the MCLT and senior Commercial leaders in translating new and established critical capabilities to drive a transformation in business performance.
  • Maintain an ongoing feedback loop with the segment leadership teams and the ‘centre’ ensuring the inventions in place are in line with the business needs.
  • Create business cases, recommend and secure approvals for the investment on critical capabilities and strategic programs within One Commercial.
  • Custodian of the suite of One Commercial programs and own the “Define/Design/Develop/Deploy/Embed” model as well as provide overall program leadership and management. 
  • Lead and complete the SRM program, from Partnering for Success to SPM
  • Own and drive value from external thought leaders and best practice organizations
  • Benchmark the One Commercial procurement best practice externally
  • Partner with the Strategic Capabilities team to develop and deploy a robust capability roadmap
  • Partner as a member of the PC&S Leadership Team to support end to end process enhancements and the digital roadmap
