Field Supervisor - Directional Drilling

Partner with the best
 As a Field Supervisor, you will be working closely with customers and supervising the daily operations of your team within the region.  You'll provide technical guidance and insight to support the delivery of customer projects. You will play an essential role in identifying improvements to products, processes and procedures.

 As a Field Supervisor - Directional Drilling, you will be responsible for:

 Providing support, mentoring, supervision and guidance to Field Engineers to ensure day-to-day wellsite work activities are completed

  • Managing cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects for customers
  • Supporting external customers and cross-functional teams at wellsite to provide technical knowledge and direction as needed
  • Analyzing and interpreting system information and data to provide effective resolution to complex problems at wellsites
  • Ensuring work is verified to enable successful customer delivery and sign-off of agreed work objectives


Fuel your passion
 To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Two year degree and significant relatable experience
  • Have good directional drilling experience, gained in an oil and gas environment
  • Demonstrate expertise with rotary steerable and conventional assemblies
  • Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal customers and suppliers
  • Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have excellent all-round communication skills
  • Have the ability to travel at short notice and work away from home for periods of time
