Working anywhere. After a successful application process, you have the opportunity to work anywhere in Germany. You will be assigned to the nearest Telefónica location according to your place of residence. We will discuss further details with you during the application process.
What are your challenges with us?
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the group. This includes, but is not limited to, continuous motivation, development of staff, as well as agreeing and achieving targets derived from IT and divisional objectives and being accountable for the group's budget compliance, performance and results.
- Responsibility of recruitment against target insourcing skills, conducting interviews and ability to manage the assessments
- Responsible for advising relevant requesting business units on the implementation of digital customer journeys, internal processes and IT technology issues from initial IT consultation through delivery of the end product to life support.
- Ensure the translation of the requestor's business process and product concepts into technical concepts, solutions and deliveries to ensure the required functionality and capabilities are in line with the target IT architecture and Agile and DevOps delivery models.
- Ensure close and trustful communication with internal business units, as well as other IT departments.
- Ensure qualified advice for possible delivery methods with the aim of a short and cost-effective time-to-market realization.
- Coordination or execution of effort assessments, impact assessment, analyses, E2E designs, control of service requests or project management in all offered delivery types (e.g. Release, DD, Agile etc.).
- Creation and coordination of a portfolio roadmap for the area for which you are responsible.
- Ownership of business roadmap and committed delivery
- Ensure continuous improvement and transformation of existing and set-up of new workflow processes, tools, delivery processes and methodologies with the aim to maximize productivity and flexibility in above main tasks.
- Independently perform human resources duties especially performance reviews, salary decisions, disciplinary actions and preparation of hiring and terminations.
- Build and setup new ways of working supporting Telefonica Germany’s Transformation Agenda against our target.
- Enable teams‘ to work in self-sufficient way and conduct / request necessary trainings, skills.
- Actively be involved on setting up self-sufficient agile teams and ensure adoption across the team.
What are you bringing?
- Completed technical studies, preferably business informatics, computer science or similar studies.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in the digital sector, especially experience with customer journeys, business processes and IT structures in the telecommunications and/or media sector or comparable industries, of which at least 5 years in a management position.
- At least 5 years of experience in project planning and management of complex, cross-divisional projects in the function as Group Lead.
- Detailed knowledge of digital architecture and / or agile software development and working in agile teams.
- Experience in managing the interface between business and IT.
- Prefered experience in large scale Transformation Programmes.
- Absolute customer focus in all activities
- Personality that drives highly complex projects forward even in difficult constellations
- Ability to work in such complex projects and programmes
- Enthusiasm and persuasiveness, as well as willingness to perform and outstanding ability to work in a team
- Maintains and continuously expands a broad personal network within the company and with external partners and service providers
- Experience in implementing change processes
