About the job

The EMEA Business Applications Domain is home to a variety of expert roles such as Delivery Managers, Program- Project Managers, Architects, Consultants. This team is at the forefront, leading the presales and delivery of large multi-million USD customer engagements and is measured for customer success and platform adoption. Engagements will have Microsoft Platform and Products as a central theme alongside other technologies and capabilities, which calls for the art and science of organizing and managing the ambitions of many internal and external stakeholders. These engagements will typically have a central customer engagement location, steering the project and adoption impact across many countries and multiple personas. In a non-pandemic context 25-50% travel is expected.

Your Responsibilities

• As a Business Applications Digital Transformation Program-/ Project Director, you will be accountable for customer outcomes and success and measured for the engagement P&L.
• You will lead and manage the performance of large teams (typically greater than 25 members upwards from Microsoft and partners) with multinational talent, both onsite and offshore upholding the Microsoft values of Diversity and Inclusion. Typical Services Project size and complexity can vary between $5-50M, leveraging state-of-the-art delivery principles using Azure DevOps and Design Thinking.
• You will be empowered to show your entrepreneurial mindset during the sales and delivery process by taking appropriate decisions, managing risks, delivering outcomes, passionately seeking, and influencing opportunities to grow the customer account.
• You will harvest lessons learnt from the field and help in maturing the program / project management practice/community through dialog with peers, curating methodology and artefacts.

Qualifications

Must have qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Extensive knowledge in Business Applications or Business transformation programs.
• A successful track record in leading multi-discipline global technical and functional teams.
• You put client success at the center of the program’s culture.
• Demonstrable business development / presales experience in multi-million USD engagements.
• Full engagement lifecycle experience, from pre-sales through to transfer to in-service support.
• Client stakeholder management and collaboration with Client senior leadership. 
• Contribution to the development of your Company’s program management and delivery capability.

and / or additional qualifications

• Deep exposure experience with large scale enterprise transformations such as Dynamics, Power Platform, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc. across multiple industries and several end-to-end engagements.
• Project Management and Agile certifications, such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe.
