Job Purpose and Impact

The Digital Solution Technical SME, will integrate and implement plant operational technology systems. In this role, you will translate business needs into solution architecture requirements, offering multiple technical solutions to solve business problems and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives.

Key Accountabilities

• Compile, prioritize and translate business requirements offering multiple technical solutions.
• Identify and configure IT solutions to meet business requirements.
• Provide governance, strategic consultation and recommendations for the solution.
• Facilitate technical resources on different planning, design and implementation meetings.
• Provide technical oversite for project managers and project teams and act as a liaison between all technical teams and the business unit.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and utilize this knowledge to educate both information technology and the business on opportunities to build better target architectures that support and drive business decisions.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Experience working with OSIsoft PI, RT Duet.
• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill within the United States or Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in architecture and collaborating with regional and global project teams to define business requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals
• Experience in developing integrated solutions involving process, data and technology
• Knowledge and ability to support translation of business needs into solution architecture requirements, offering multiple technical solutions to solve business problems and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
• Knowledge of LIM, MES, data integration, and scripting programming language
• Experience in working AWS and Azure cloud
