Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you will have oversight of user acceptance testing, business simulation activities and maintaining quality control processes. You will further analyze results and provide feedback and guidance to the product management team and ensuring that the appropriate materials, product, and/or processes are in accordance with success criteria and product specifications. You will collaborate with the product team to align to set processes, standardized production practices and product quality standards, and reporting results to key business stakeholders.

You will:

• Develop, write, and manage the execution of an overall digital application testing strategy. Oversee the design and implementation of validation procedures, test plans, and test cases

• Establish data quality controls for the Demand Forecasting platform; data generated by internal systems/models and third-party data sets.

• Define action items and a response plan for issues identified. Collaborate with Data Scientists/IT to address any outstanding issues and integrate testing into the development process. Document all assessments, decisions, and follow-up actions. Generate reports, including findings, trends and recommendations to COE lead

• Test all new changes to models, including prototypes and potential scenarios. Document and analyze results and recommend corrective action.

• Partner with data management team to establish and optimize a best in class process for mapping and maintaining data pipeline.

• Research, recommend and implement efficiencies to reduce testing time and effort by automating repeatable tests, such as incorporating machine learning.

• Develop a plan to communicate broader umbrella data changes (restatements, etc.), through various communication vehicles to stakeholders.

• Develop and manage quality assurance metrics, identification of risks and recommend ways to mitigate risk to improve metrics.

You have:

• A Bachelor’s degree required; computer Science or technology-related discipline preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT or digital product development field, hands-on experience in software QA testing. 

• Experience with the digital technology software development process: discovery, design, build, test/QA, deployment, measurement, and optimization.

• Ability to manage multiple areas of Quality Assurance across different architectures.

• Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics and tools.

• Strong understanding of different software development life cycles including Agile and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.

• Solid understanding and implementation experience of various automation and performance testing tools.

• Collaborative leadership capabilities, effective presentation skills and communication to various IT teams, cross functional partners and senior level business stakeholders.

• Excellent problem solving and project management capabilities.

• Experience with design, documentation, process and policy development & administration.
