 We have a rare and very exciting new opportunity for an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Digital Product Manager.

 As a Digital Product Manager, Wealth and Insurance (W&I) you will be responsible for the delivery of WPB’s digital capabilities including products and journeys. Working with Group and Digital Product Management to define the digital expression of the WPB propositions, the role holder will then work with the Global technical stakeholder groups to ensure the timely delivery of these features and products across multiple systems.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Ensuring HSBC digital pipeline resources are focused on the W&I solutions that are “needle moving” for the customer and / or give HSBC a critical competitive advantage. 
  • Expediting complex projects through the creation of a central point between business requirements, compliance and technical functions which facilitates the navigation of multi- pronged projects through the complex HSBC legacy systems.
  • Developing an expert knowledge of W&I in order to influence various areas of business and adjust strategic direction accordingly. 
  • Working in conjunction with third parties where applicable to deliver and manage new solutions.
  • Seeking continuous improvement in people and process.
  • Blending a “customer first” ethos and using customer insight to support the move to a global operating model for ongoing customer experience, driving good conduct and increasing customer loyalty, advocacy and retention.
  • Manage and escalate risks and issues relevant to activities allocated as appropriate
  • Scope, design & create customer journey maps
  • Drive & execute improvements from customer journey recommendations.
 

Qualifications

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in the full lifecycle of digital delivery
  • Experience of running an agile delivery.
  • Experience in managing a product management platform/journey
  • Understanding and experience of applying UX design methodologies.
  • Experience in a delivery driven role i.e. project, programme, product management.
  • A successful track record of managing 3rd party vendor relationships
  • A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same 
  • Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business or operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
  • Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery.

 

 

The base location for this role is London.
