Your responsibilities will include:

• Active engagement with scrum usual as the Product Owner (PO) or supporting as a Scrum Master (SM) but also representing the Digital and Data Strategy team as an SME and cross functional member of the scum team.
• As a Product Owner (PO) - accountable for the success of the product and acts as the 'voice of the customer ‘and communicating the product vision. Owns and set the priority for the product backlog and accepts when the User Story is "Done “.
• As a Scrum Master (SM) – act as a servant-leader to the team, schedules and facilitates scrum events, removes impediments and blockers and assists continuous improvement.
• Using design thinking to all developments and propositional design which revolves around user-centric design, insight and experimentation to arrive at innovative solutions through an iterative process to solve complex problems and find alternative strategies that may not be instantly apparent. Identifying the right problem and finding the right solution by:
• Having a deep interest and understanding of the users we’re designing products or services for.
• Based on what customers want (through evidence) rather than instinctive assumptions.
• Brings together what is desirable from a human point of view with what is technologically feasible and economically viable.
• Supporting the Change, the Bank (IT/Development Funding) process
• Supporting the UK Insurance submission process for new and change request, including
• Management of tickets on Jira

Triage on new submissions from all UK Insurance teams

• Owning and developing with SME the Idea Outlines for initial IT estimates and engagement on all transformation requests
•  Epic and user story creation
• Feature creation on SVS board
• Active participation on PI Planning, including preparation of features in readiness of the process working with both IT and Insurance transformation

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge and experience of insurance business, distribution channels, products, processes, pricing and profitability
• In-depth experience of (Native) Digital Customer Journey Design in the Mobile Channel (IOS and Android)
• In-depth experience of Agile Ways of Working
• Experience of collaborating with complex 3rd party relationships and achieving excellent results
• Excellent knowledge and experience product development and management
• Excellent knowledge in projects portfolio management
• Outstanding track record of successfully managing internal and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinking, strong analytical, organisational, cross-functional collaboration, communication and presentation skills are mandatory to be successful in this position.
• Experience in financial services, particularly insurance/wealth management products retailing to the mass affluent via multiple distribution channel
• Excellent leadership skills coupled with a high and demanding benchmark.
• Highly effective communication and social skills, with excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to influence, engage and lead in a positive and inspiring manner.
