Job Description
As the North American Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive the overall strategy, development, and execution of online digital marketing activities that align with the organization’s goals. You will manage a team of marketing specialists and web content producers along with vendor and agency relationships.
You will make an impact on the business by:
Leading your Vision & Planning:
- Develops and executes digital marketing strategies that will improve lead generation, increase new business acquisition and effectively drive existing sales and profitability.
- Creates, oversees, and coordinates marketing campaigns and tactics with team and agencies.
- Works with Marketing Services and Product Marketing to ensure consistent brand messaging, translate offline promotions to digital channels, and develop a seamless customer experience between offline and online.
Placing a focus on Strategy Development
- Understands the company’s strategies and maintains the digital marketing calendar in support of company and department objectives.
- Directs the development, standardization, and execution of the brand across all digital channels.
- Collaborates to develop plans and goals for maximizing sales and revenue through online channels.
- Collaborates with the Analytics team to define, report, and interpret analytic results for all digital campaigns. Leverages analytical insights to drive effective decisions.
Communicating & Relationship-Building
- Bridges eCommerce and Marketing through shared best practices that leverage expertise and maximize resources.
- Spearheads collaboration with various leaders on the development of a comprehensive digital marketing roadmap that provides an additional channel of qualified leads and sales support.
- Creates strong cross functional relationships with peers in other business units to foster shared learning and leverage best practices
Budget management
- Responsible for overall digital spend across campaigns and channels, working with team to optimize results
- Partners with the eCommerce product team to build cross sell/upsell opportunities and create consistency across channel interactions.
- Responsible for day-to-day paid and display placement spends
- Awareness of the competitive environment and be able to recommend strategies.
Leading and Developing:
- Fosters a positive, creative, fast-paced, and technologically-inspiring team environment.
- Develops team members building a strong collaborative center of excellence in digital marketing
- Manages marketing spend across campaigns to achieve greatest return and efficiencies.
What do we need from you:
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and creative problem-solving activities with strong ability to execute.
- Requires hands on knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEM/PPC/display, SEO, email, social media marketing, web analytics, A/B testing, conversion, customer acquisition, nurture and retention, and mobile.
- 8+ years of strategic and executional responsibilities in digital marketing or eCommerce required; (B2B or B2B2C experience ).
- 3-5+ yrs leading and developing a digital team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- HTML , DRUPAL, and CSS skills not required, but helpful.
