Are you looking for an opportunity to bring your expertise and skills into a new team and make a difference supporting candidate development activities? We have a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketer to join our expanding EMEA Talent Sourcing team (part of Global Talent Acquisition “GTA”). The role has an exciting & unique remit to develop and deliver an EMEA wide Recruitment Marketing Strategy. You will be the driving force in leveraging our employer brand to accelerate candidate attraction across the region for Microsoft!

 

In this role you will craft a compelling narrative, and content selling the benefits of working for Microsoft in both Engineering and non-Engineering disciplines. You will manage targeted recruitment marketing campaigns, working with global teams to develop a marketing strategy and deliver a paid targeted campaign to support functional and local recruitment activity. Lead on and ensure we maximise and leverage our overall Talent Acquisition channels internally and externally, our social media platforms and technology to ensure the investments we make overall and the technology we invest in drives return on investment. You will partner closely with our Recruiting team members and hiring managers to deliver our business goals and our Global Talent Acquisition Strategy


The ideal candidate is a quick learner and rapid adopter of leading practices from other marketing peers across the globe. Will need to work with autonomy & both manage the Recruitment marketing plan whilst integrating into the global strategy, localising where required. This role works in a highly matrixed organization, and an industry that requires a combination of Modern Marketing know-how, Social Marketing leadership and global programs adoption for the greater cause—all coming together to deliver the candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and orchestrate the social media strategy, with a holistic approach in close cooperation with our Corporate Talent Acquisition Marketing Team.
  • Write and create content including, candidate personas and candidate journeys (blogs, email campaigns, job descriptions, LinkedIn Articles, etc.) then design marketing campaigns to fully leverage these assets for candidate attraction.
  •  Focus on optimized Digital Event Marketing using all analytics tools and facts to reach the right audience in the proposed numbers.
  • As a business consultant, you advise the Recruiting Managers on which channels they can use to generate the greatest impact with which actions in a cost-optimized manner.
  • Execute Social media activities, leveraging global assets and developing local assets; social campaigns development and amplification; social community management, adhering to global standards; social listening; paid media activities; deriving insights with KPI definition and business impact measurement. Act as Social Marketing Consultant and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in-house. Responsible and accountable for social budget investment and management.
  • Closely liaise, align and partner with Corp, CMO Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), global peers in role, and relevant local stakeholders cross-company, incl. definition and development of best practices and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to test innovative social and digital programs that can scale and build upon work from global or other teams.
  • Manage local employee advocacy program in collaboration with the Communications Team to activate hiring managers and support with relevant content.

Qualifications

  • This is a standalone regional role where you will be part of the Recruiting function and required to be autonomous and self-motivated. Ability to define success criteria, work through ambiguity is a must!
  • Experience working within technology is required.
  • Strong experience of digital and social marketing strategy development, multi-phase execution and delivery experience for a large brand and/or digital agency with a strong track record taking a strategic, customer-centric and business priorities- and goals-driven approach to social marketing.
  • Experience in Recruitment/marketing analytics & digital marketing and social amplification.
  • Understanding of marketing automation concepts and software tools to capture contacts/leads and measure commercial impact of investments.
    Mature understanding of current and emerging social and digital marketing platforms, tactics and trends incl. marketing automation.
  • Budget, agency and vendor management, with ability to evaluate capabilities of agencies and vendors and manage them to obtain optimal business-goals-aligned results.
  • Previous experience running and/or coordinating large digital events.
